Restored & Ready
Complete fans that have been evaluated and serviced by AFR, with the work performed and operating condition clearly documented.
Workshop Sales • Original Pieces • Useful Old Iron
Restored runners, honest project fans and original vintage components from the AFR workshop. Nothing here is anonymous shelf stock. Each machine or part is photographed, described and sold for what it actually is.
The Parts Counter is intentionally small and constantly changing. Some pieces leave the shop fully serviced. Others are preserved as honest projects, and some donate the one impossible-to-find component that saves another machine.
Complete fans that have been evaluated and serviced by AFR, with the work performed and operating condition clearly documented.
Interesting original machines offered as-found or as projects for collectors who would rather put their own hands on the restoration.
Useful period pieces salvaged from donor machines when practical: blades, guards, struts, switches, bases, motors, oscillator parts and hardware.
Inventory appears here as pieces are photographed and cataloged. Every listing should identify condition, electrical status, price and what AFR knows about the item. Sold pieces may remain briefly as part of the shop record.

Old machines carry scars, repairs and stories. AFR describes what is known, separates cosmetic condition from operating condition, and packs each piece according to what it actually needs.
Age, finish, patina, missing pieces, previous repairs and known faults are called out whenever they are known.
A listing will say whether a fan has been bench tested, serviced by AFR, runs as found, or is offered as an untested project.
Heavy bases, delicate cages and brass blades do not belong in one-price shipping. Packing and shipping are quoted for the actual item.
AFR does not erase age simply to make a machine look new. Restored items are described according to the work actually performed.
Send the maker, model, approximate year if known, the part you need and a photograph of the fan. Even when the exact piece is not listed, there may be something useful hiding on the workshop shelf.
